A good guide line is about 3 months before your baby is due. Some people will start to look earlier, but it is not advisable to begin ordering until after your 20 week scan. Others will leave it until the last minute, but remember certain items, especially nursery furniture and certain pushchairs can take up to 10 weeks from order to delivery (custom made items can take longer).

Baby Concierge offers parents to be a bespoke service that cuts through the confusion of which products are best suited to your needs. A private consultation takes place in our showroom where we offer impartial advice and you have the opportunity to see products up close and try them out.

No. Although we specialise in the consultation service, you can also shop independently with us. Anyone is welcome to pop in or call Monday to Friday 10-5.30 to browse, buy a one off item, purchase a gift, make an order, or anything you would do in a regular shop. Evenings and weekends are by appointment only.


We always encourage clients to come to us as nothing beats being able to see products upfront and try them out. However, if you are unable to come to the showroom, we will come to you. We have done consultations before in hospital, at home and at the office. The consultation fee is non refundable for on site consultations. Please also see telephone consultations below.

Although we are able to source just about any baby product you fancy, our clients enjoy the fact that we have carefully selected the 'best' items available to display in our showroom. These products have been chosen following detailed research, feedback from many mothers and our own experience as parents.

The Baby Concierge showroom is located in Ladbroke Grove, W10. We are within a complex called Network Hub that is also home to Jivamukti Yoga and EDV, The Family Media Company..

Only for the consultation service. The consultation service fee is a one off £120 charge which is 50% refundable against purchases over £500*

Cancellations or changes to appointments must be advised 24 hours in advance or a late fee will be charged at 50% of the £120 consultation price (100% for weekend and evening bookings). All bookings will require debit or credit card details to secure the appointment. Please note, the cancellation fee above applies to all consultation bookings and vouchers will not be accepted as late fee payment.

*(Reduced fees for non first time parents requiring the consultation package. If you require an at home consultation the £120 consultation fee is non refundable)

No! We follow the recommended retail price on all our products and are no more expensive than a John Lewis store. We will work within any given budget and help you select what's right for you. What's more, we will help you avoid those common mistake purchases and consequently save you money!

Consultation and gift list customers receive a one off free* delivery of their order as part of the consultation service (certain furniture ranges may incur a delivery surcharge but these are all explained and alternative options are always available)

Local customers are welcome to collect their items from us. Prepaid orders can be collected out of hours, up to 9pm on a weekdays.

Baby Concierge offers a split order and a delayed delivery service.

Split Order
We will organise your shopping into two segments:
Instalment 1 - the limited number of 'must have' items that you will need as soon as your baby is born
Instalment 2 - any items on your order that you won't need immediately.

Delayed Delivery
Delayed delivery allows you to order the 'must have' items in advance to allow for any lead times but to delay delivery until the last minute.
In all areas of baby shopping we offer neutral as well as gender specific choices. In certain instances, especially with relation to clothing, you may wish to specify style 'A' if your baby is a boy or style 'B' if it is a girl and we will arrange to send these extra items to you once all is revealed.

We are currently able to delivery anywhere within the UK . Although nothing beats a trip to our showroom and being able to discuss your needs face to face and see products up close, with the help of our website, we can introduce you to, and offer you guidance on, the full range of baby products by phone. A £50 fee will be charged for this service, but this will be fully refundable against purchases over £300.

The baby gift list operates in a similar way to a wedding list. However due to the fact that baby gifts, unlike wedding gifts, often need delivering as soon as they have been bought (rather than a few weeks / months after the event), we operate a number of flexible systems:
- You can choose to purchase any items you know you want, no matter what, in advance and simply be credited when those items are bought for you as 'gifts'
- You can pay a one off fee (in the region of £15-£20 depending on the size of the overall order) to have all your gifts delivered in one go and not charge delivery to those purchasing from your list.
- You can leave the decision as to whether the gift is sent to you instantly or at a specified time when the list is ‘closed' to the person buying the gift who can choose to pay a little extra for immediate delivery or not as the case may be;
- You can choose a cut off date, at which point you want gifts delivered but still keep your list open, so any further gifts bought will be delivered at the buyer's expense.
- Or, you can, of course, combine any number of these methods to suit you.

If you have your ‘baby shopping list' with us as well as a gift list, not only is the initial deliver free of charge, but it means you can keep your options open so that you can duplicate items you are buying for yourself onto your gift list, in which case, we refund you anything you've paid if that item is then bought as a gift. It sounds a little complex, but it works well in practice! .

We have relationships with all the major baby goods suppliers as well as many more exclusive and unusual ones so that as well as all the mainstream products, you will find a selection of more unusual items that you will not see elsewhere on the high street. We are not limited in any way and where we do not have the item you are looking for, we strive to find it for you. We have sourced from all over the world, specific items that our clients may have seen while abroad and are constantly scouring the market for better and more interesting products. There really is nothing we “don't do”.

Of course you can! You can buy from us anytime you like whether or not you have previously been for a consultation. Consultation clients will automatically be sent our guide to second and third stage products at the point that their baby is turning 3 months/ If you have not used us previously, we are still happy to send this info to you on request. We will guide you through weaning, child proofing, potty training and travelling with your baby. We can also help out when it comes to junior furniture, children's beds and bedding and, of course, subsequent babies!.
